Sutivan

Sutivan
Sutivan is a settlement on the north - western coast of Brac, set just opposite Split, only 13 km away from it. Sutivan is the result of the side by side existence of the island`s primeval inhabitants with the people from across the sea who were constantly imigrating and remaining there in Sutivan. It was founded in the 15th century when the old Brac settlers from the interior descended to the coast.
Today, Sutivan is lovely little town of the Mediterranean type, with beautiful tree - lined beaches and many holiday houses that stretch along the sea on both sides of town.
